On behalf of the Scientific Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 5th Uganda Conference on Cancer and Palliative Care, scheduled for September 10–12, 2025, at Speke Resort, Munyonyo. This landmark event will bring together leading experts, researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals who are shaping the future of cancer and palliative care in Uganda, the region, and beyond.

This year’s theme, “Embracing Uniqueness and Empowering Communities,” reflects our collective commitment to ensuring that cancer care and palliative services are inclusive, patient-centered, and accessible to everyone. The conference will provide a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and transformative learning, featuring cutting-edge research, innovations, and community-driven approaches.

As the 5th edition of the conference, we celebrate how far we have come and look ahead to new possibilities. We will introduce enhanced interdisciplinary discussions, interactive sessions, and thought-provoking keynote presentations that address the most pressing challenges in cancer and palliative care.

We encourage you to submit abstracts of your research work and non empirical studies, actively participate in panel discussions, research presentations, and networking opportunities. Your expertise, insights, and contributions will be vital in shaping policies, improving patient care, and driving innovations that will impact cancer treatment and palliative care throughout Uganda and the wider region.
